About this Edition

In 1895 the Kelmscott Press published 308 copies of the Anglo-Saxon epic poem, Beowulf. This edition is not a facsimile of this translated version by Morris and Wyatt, it is an homage.

With 18 new illustrations by Alice Cao this edition will be printed by Nomad Letterpress. Two bindings will be available; 300 Morris Editions and 8 Octad Editions (vellum) beautifully hand-bound at Ludlow Bookbinders.

The text will be presented with the Morris Troy font, a font Morris created for his edition, adding character and distinction to the pages. Flourishes designed by Morris will enhance this theme.
