Florence Mary Anderson flourished between 1914 and 1930, working as a watercolour painter, wood engraver and illustrator. She also illustrated under her maiden name of Molly MacArthur. She also wrote a few books but is best known for her illustration of children's books and annuals, working in black and white as well as watercolour.
Books illustrated include: The Rainbow Twins, The Dream Pedlar, The Magic Kiss, The Black Princess, The Password of Fairyland, The Magic Whistle, Valentine and Orson.
